1. Data processed by the product
To display and modify Squirrel settings, SquirrelSet reads the Squirrel installation state, configuration directory, configuration files, build results, and deployment-related diagnostic information on the user’s Mac. This data is processed locally.
2. Data we do not collect
The current version requires no account and does not collect or upload input content, personal dictionaries, Squirrel configuration files, app rules, backup files, or deployment diagnostics. It includes no advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party behavior analytics SDK.
3. Local storage
Language preferences, configuration backups, and deployment diagnostics may store necessary data locally on the user’s Mac. Users can manage this local data through the product interface or macOS file management features.
4. Website data
This website is hosted by infrastructure providers. To maintain security and availability, servers and the CDN may process access IP addresses, request times, browser types, and error logs according to standard industry practice. We do not use these logs to create personal profiles or sell personal information.
5. Children’s privacy
SquirrelSet is a general-purpose computer input configuration utility. It is not directed specifically to children and does not intentionally collect children’s personal information.
6. Policy changes
If the product adds network features or begins processing new categories of data, we will update this policy before enabling those features and explain the changes where appropriate.
