1. Product nature
Input Method Manager is an independent macOS input method manager that can lock the current system input source, switch input sources automatically according to user-created app rules, and optionally provide graphical Squirrel configuration. It includes no input engine or dictionaries and is not affiliated with Squirrel, Rime, or other input method developers.
2. Requirements for use
Input Source Lock and app rules work with input sources enabled in macOS and require the app to remain running. A compatible Squirrel installation and folder authorization are required only for features that read or modify Squirrel configuration. Users remain responsible for protecting important configuration.
3. Downloads, purchases, and refunds
Mac App Store purchases, downloads, and refunds follow Mac App Store policies. Terms for a signed website download will be published separately before that channel opens.
4. Acceptable use
Users may not use the product for illegal activity, circumvent platform security restrictions, distribute malware, or misleadingly impersonate official Input Method Manager, Squirrel, Rime, or other input method services.
5. Third-party software
Squirrel, Rime, macOS, and related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Third-party software is governed by its own licenses and terms.
6. Availability and updates
Changes to macOS, system input sources, app-activation behavior, or Squirrel may affect Input Source Lock, app rules, or configuration features. Updates may improve compatibility, fix issues, or adjust product scope.
7. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we will update the effective date and provide an appropriate notice on the website or in the product.
